Stephen Ministry

One-to-One Christian Care

Confidential, Christ-centered care for people going through difficult times — led by trained lay caregivers.

What Is Stephen Ministry?

"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2

Stephen Ministry is a national, one-to-one Christian care ministry. Our Urbancrest branch is led by Scott & Lea McQuinn, who equip and support trained lay caregivers (Stephen Ministers) to walk alongside people who are facing life's challenges.

Stephen Ministers are trained to provide confidential, emotional, and spiritual care to individuals experiencing grief, illness, job loss, divorce, relocation, or any difficult life transition.

Confidential Care

Every care relationship is strictly confidential. What you share with your Stephen Minister stays between you, them, and God.

Trained Caregivers

Stephen Ministers complete extensive training in listening, prayer, and supportive care before being matched with a care receiver.

One-to-One Support

You'll meet regularly with the same Stephen Minister, building trust and receiving consistent, personal care through your season.
